Jackie’s Medicine Bags

 In 2015, June, Links

I was born and raised on a 9,000 acre cattle ranch in eastern Colorado. My family was third generation and we spent our days working and giving back to the land. it was here at a very young age, that I came to appreciate the importance of the earth and how it sustains us each and every day, both physically and spiritually.

In my early teens the family moved to the city where I was introduced to Native American Beadwork. My teacher, a Native American woman named Nori, taught me to bead using traditional methods and techniques, while infusing spiritual symbolism into the designs I create.

My soul is fulfilled each time I create a bag. I have created bags for my family and friends who share my love of the art. Now that I have more time to focus on my creations I delight in sharing them with those of us from around the world who share the “Love of the Art of Beadwork.” I also do custom work. If you have a special theme I will work with you to create the perfect design for your bag.

Please enjoy the photos of my work.
